Dear all,

we have the privilege to inform you that the INCEST TRAUMA CENTER – BELGRADE IS AWARDED the CERTIFICATE OF RECOGNITION of our partnership with the INTERNATIONAL SOCIETY FOR THE PREVENTION OF CHILD ABUSE AND NEGLECT (ISPCAN COUNTRY PARTNER PROGRAM 2017 – 2018).

Together with the International Society for the Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect (ISPCAN), we are very excited about the joint collaborations we see in our near future to bring more awareness about child abuse and neglect to the Eastern European Region.

ISPCAN (www.ispcan.org ), founded in 1977, is the only multidisciplinary international organization that brings together a worldwide cross-section of committed professionals to work toward the prevention and treatment of child abuse, neglect and exploitation globally. It’s purpose being, ‘to promote opportunities, facilities and organizations which will enable the children of all nations to develop physically, mentally and socially and in a normal manner... and in particular, to promote the protection of every child, in every country against all forms of cruelty and exploitation.’

ISPCAN’s work embodies its founder’s, Henry Kempe’s, desire that ‘all of us working in the field never cease to ask difficult questions, to challenge ourselves to reach beyond what is possible and to strive for what is needed to protect children.’

All activities that will result out of co-operation between the ISPCAN and the Incest Trauma Center – Belgrade, we’ll be enthusiastically sharing with all social acters ready to prevent Child Sexual Assault in a safe, reliable and consistent manner and ready to protect children and youth survivors of Sexual Trauma.

Sincerely,

Dr. Ljiljana Bogavac
